The Chaar Sahibzaade animated movie based on the life of the Four Sons of Guru Gobind Singh has set an example in the Punjabi film industry. The screenplay, dialogues and script has put an extra life into the movie.
The movie gives a message to leave behind the old thinking and accept the new one (even new technology).
The new generation has been going away from the Sikhism. The major reason could be that they do not get to know about the Sikh history and culture from their parents because of their busy schedule. Another reason can be that their modes of entertain have been so developed (because of new technology) that they do not go towards religion.
Reason can be any, but yes, they are going away from Sikh history, culture and overall Sikhism. But, the Chaar Sahibzaade movie has set a trend. It has been watched mostly by the children and they have learnt about the history of 4 sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji.
This happened because the children got to know the history from the medium of their generation. Thus, the preachers of Sikhism must learn the new modes of disseminating the information in masses as the criterion is changing.
Chaar Sahibzaade has set a trend and thus, the producers would get the courage to work and make more such movies and contribute in disseminating the teachings of Gurus.
I hope, SGPC could also make it as a tool for disseminating the teachings of Gurus.
