This blog is about the last year's controversy between Babbu Mann and Sant Ranjit Singh Ji Dhadrian Wale. I know that I am bit late to write about this issue, but the thought which I want to share is having importance now(post controversy).
Babbu Mann sang a song(ik baba nanak si......) about the current situation of religion and spiritualism in Punjab. But some people took this song the other way and designed a pirated video showing Sant Ranjit Singh Dhadrian Wale as those fake saints. This is a very condemning issue. I condemn this issue.
Now, I should justify the HEADLINE.
Babbu Mann sang another song, " JO KAUM DE HEERE SI, OH KYUN SOOLI TANGE, JO KAUM DE KATIL SI, OH LEHRAUNDE PHIRDE JHANDE."
In the pirated video of this song, many political leaders are shown as the KAUM DE KATIL which is another issue of condemning and i condemn it too.
So, if we note the reaction of Sant Ranjit Singh Dhadrian Wale, he took this issue as an insult and spoke openly against Babbu Mann at a public function. Babbu Mann was supported by most of the Punjabis and thus Ranjit Singh Dhadrian Wale were condemned by most of the Punjabis.
But in response to KAUM DE KATIL none of the political leaders spoke because they thought politically and escaped from insult as well as from defaming.
So, this is an advice
BABA JI YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE THOUGHT AND REACTED POLITICALLY
ITS AN ITERSTING CONTROVERSY WHICH STARTED FROM A SONG BUT NNOW HAS CREATED A STIR AMONG ALL PUNJABIS WORLDWID8 WORK. I TRULY SUPPORT YOUR CONDEMNING THE ISSUE. GREAT WORK JAGDEEP.

ReplyDeleteyes brother i do agree with u , u are absolutely rite . plus addition to this in song u have mentioned babbu mann has talked about the fake sants , now que arrise why does ranjit singh think that it was on him? i dont think that this was because of pirated video, as in his own words ranjit singh has told that he heard about the song from someone,so he must have appreciated babbu mann . The other mistake he made was that instead of rising his voice against fake sants ram rahim and shifting the focus of song on him, he just began to defend himself.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest am really amazed by all this, no religious sant or politicion raised his voice against RAM RAHIM who openly tried to act as our tenth guru GURU GOBIND SINGH JI and no one speak openly against the persons who are speaking shit things about sikhism. But amazingly everyone is tring to condem babbu mann who is tring to present the true picture of what is happening now a days.

No question that the minister's played or thaught poloticaly and did not speak bad about or against mann but let me tell u man even Ranjit singh played political by speaking against mann. Ministers did it for the sake of votes,and Ranjit singh did it for the sake of his followers.He did it because the pirated video speaks the car name"audi"which he recently baught. so if he had not spoken against him his followers might thaught him one of those bloody saints,so by giving his anger to mann in fuction he made a more strong hold on not only his followers but also the ones who dont follow him but are sikhs. got it
